The food was very tasty and the wiew was great, overlooking one of the canals.
The staff were friendly, but a bit reserved.
Good value for money.

“Fantastic food and service”
Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

Myself and 2 colleagues were treated to a fantastic meal in this restaurant. The food was very good indeed and the service was just how I like it, fast and efficient. I will return again in a few weeks with a group of my colleagues this time.

“Good food, good location, friendly staff”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Having walked up and down Broad Street a couple of times we were getting desperate and stumbled upon Barajee. Not a very impressive entrance , up some stairs to the first floor but a very pleasant surprise when we got there. Modern, clean (even the toilets) and polite staff. We went for the set meal at around £15 which was excellent value. They were very happy to vary the spicy' ness of the food as we wished - which for me is always a good sign. A bit of a delay between starter and main but nothing excessive. This against a backdrop of the canals (which our table overlooked) made for a great late evening, post show, meal. I can't compare with others in the area but we would go back again.

“Really nice food, friendly staff”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We went here last Saturday after seeing Mickey Flanegan at the NIA and really enjoyed it. Great spot on Broad Street which meant we in the thick of it to go for a few drinks afterwards as well.

I couldn't decide off the menu so they asked me the type of dish that I like so gave them a few pointers and the dish they brought was fnatastic, really tasty! (lamb, garlic, quite spicy with a thickish sauce so not the hardest dish for them to be fair!)

Cost £19 per person approx which included a main meal each, a rice or naan each and a beer each.

All in all I'd recomend this place as part of a night out in the area.
