I finally got round to doing the Purnell's tour:
The amuse bouche of leek and potato was lovely... Cheese and pineapple was slightly underwhelming... Smoked haddock and confit egg was rich and flavoursome... The carpaccio had strangely paired flavours but worked well... Surprisingly the crab and langoustine was probably my favourite course... The mustard and celeriac course wasn't much to my taste but was surprising to say te least.. Lamb main and monkfish masala were both sublime.. And what surprised me most was the top notch desserts! Literally emulated the experience and overall the food was great and also interactive.. An overall great 'tour'.. Thought the cheese course might have been more inventive.. The bread course was nice.. Would've maybe liked to have seen a petit four?- most stars have a decent selection
Overall very pleased an will be returning! Also, still cannot separate this place from simpsons! Neck and neck
