A quirky round building full of pleasantness. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Our room was very bijou and small but delightful with ample room for the two of us. It was very clean and comfortable, with stunning views over the city. We were on the fifth floor so had a perfect view of the city landscape.
We had a delicious evening meal from a good choice on the menu but went for the special offer of a two course meal with wine for two for a set price, in the tastefully furnished restaurant, breakfast was a buffet style with a choice of continental, cereals or full English again all cooked and served in the restaurant.
The hotel is not far from the city centre with good transport links, a bus stop is right outside the front door or there is a direct link to a really good taxi firm.
All in all a lovely stay we will definitely be going back.

Stayed here 2 nights on a business trip. Room was clean, well-equipped though a little small. I could have upgraded for only £10 but didn't bother - it served its purpose.

There were a few scuffs on the interior, a light fitting that needed attention etc, a touch of paint on the door, but it was clean, as aforementioned.

The service was what really stood out. Attentive, polite, always smiling, no crowding. Excellent in fact. Whoever the manager is, they do a great job with their staff.

Breakfast was standard, burger at night was spot-on. Oozing with deliciousness.

Next time I'd happily stay there, but just a bigger room really.

Dear Adam R,

Thank you kindly for your excellent feedback regarding the team, they are our greatest asset. Our hotel is a unique shape, and due to this we have ensured that all of our booking platforms detail our room sizes within the descriptions and the image library. This is to allow any future guests any disappointment on arrival.

Kind regards

The location was brilliant with free parking, hotel room was small but looked OK initially. When it came to going to bed I lifted the duvet and the bed was pretty dirty, hairs in the bed and it didn't smell fresh. I was very reluctant to sleep and felt horrible. Just a shame because the location and parking was really good. The photo shows one of many bits of hair!

Friendly, welcoming staff. Very clean through out. Room was a decent size. Good breakfast. Evening meal was lovely. A much shorter walk than expeceted into the city but did have a taxi on the return journey. Would stay again.

Brilliant evening. Gala dinner, food was lovely. The DJ was the best I have ever seen. He got all the guests in party mode from the off. Every member of staff were efficient and friendly. The second evening a three course dinner was served, lots of choice and again good quality. The waitress the evening of New Year's Day (sorry didn't get her name) was particularly attentive and cheerful, made us feel so welcome. I would recommend upgrading to a superior room as the inner rooms are very small. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and its welcoming staff.
