“The service could have been better but the food was fantastic”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

We made a mistake of going there on the Chinese New Year Day without having made the reservation. It was 3 in the afternoon but the place was still fully packed. We had to stand there at the front for 15 minutes before the staff came to give up a queue ticket. We had to almost an hour, even though we saw a few tables were starting to be available. We didn't have their buffet, but we ordered from the a la carte menu. The food came pretty fast and almost everything we ordered tasted great. My favourites were the Beef Ho Fun, the Fried rice with the seafood gravy on top, the rolled noodles, the scallop dumplings and the pork congee (porridge). They were worth the wait. The service staff took quite some time in setting up and didn't give us enough utencils. The plates came without the chopsticks, or the individual bowls came without the spoons. There were small errors like that, but it was understandable since the restaurant was obviously very busy.

“A bit late”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

We arrived half an hour before the end of service for the afternoon buffet so it was a mad rush to eat the food which was tasty and varied but unsurprisingly not very hot. Staff quite friendly.

“Chinese food to die for.”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

This is my favourite restaurant of all time. The food is above excellent, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Having eaten here on many occasions I can't wait for the next time. The vast choice leaves me needing to return to try different dishes. Even the local Chinese community eat here and I think that says it all for a Chinese restaurant.
Our next visit is booked for next week and we can't wait. We have relatives visiting from the Isle of Wight and can't wait to see how they react to our favourite place.

“Great buffet choice and great menu choice too”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Every month or so we take a trip to Birminghs Wing Wah restaurant, we go with friends or family at a lunchtime and are always pleased with the service and food... lots of variety and choice for all ages and the buffet is replenished frequently. Would recommend.
