My boyfriend and I dined here on a Groupon deal - two courses with a glass of champagne. There were no restrictions on the menu, but two of the more expensive dishes carried a £3 supplement which is quite normal on the deals. The restaurant is nice and modern and seemed to have a pleasant ambience and for a Sunday afternoon was relatively busy. However, we have to mention the guy playing, or should we say tinkling on the piano in the corner. Not really our cup of tea, but certainly not offensive and better than blaring music whilst you are trying to have a nice relaxed lunch. We both chose the chicken and chorizo skewers to start, which were very tasty, but very small so definitely not worth it if you are paying full price. We both opted for the lamb chump main course, which again was very tasty and succulent, but perhaps a tad pricey if you were not on a deal. We did choose to have a sweet each which was extra, but finished the meal off nicely. The staff all seemed very pleasant and attentive and we certainly didn’t have to wait long between courses.
We had a nice pleasant Sunday afternoon meal, but we probably wouldn’t rush to go back unless there was another deal on offer, as it is fairly pricey for what you get and there are nicer and cheaper places closer to home.
