“Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I booked an early dinner as we had tickets to a show at the NIA. Our waitress was fab really friendly and gave us recommendations on the menu, whilst choosing we both had cocktails. We had a canal view and the meze to share, for mains I had seabass which was excellent and hubby had the tbone steak and a glass of wine each. I recommend booking and going early ish as got very busy, tables very close together. The bill did come with an automatic surcharge which was annoying as we like to choose if we leave a tip, it was expensive but lovely food and a nice start to a great evening.

“Very bad experience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

The food was very bad. I had tomato soup, which was really bad. I think canned soup will be even better.
My main course is mushroom risotto, it's too salty!
And the dessert, which totally kill my night, fruits which are soaked in syrup!!!!
I will not come again.

“21st Birthday Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

We booked a pre event @ the NIA meal at Bank for our Son's 21st Birthday. As soon as we arrived we were made very welcome and the lady who greeted us mentioned his birthday. We were seated with a great view over the cancel basin. On sitting down we were offer a free glass of Prosecco each to celebrate his birthday. The service and food was excellent from that point onwards which added to a memorable night. A candle was added to our Son's desert as a final touch.

“Excellent Food and Nice Atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

This brasserie style restaurant is an excellent choice from the great choice in this part of Birmingham. We choose it for an early dinner before attending a show at the NIA, its almost next door so very convenient. Service was good, atmosphere good and food was excellent. We had the Asian Meze, and Risotto and no complaints. Not so keen on the mandatory service charge of 12.5% but as service was good we went with it.

“Stunning for sunshine lunches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

A Lovely bistro menu with great gastro dishes.
We arrived on a sunny afternoon and found this place has the best sun traps both in the front with luxurious white lounge chairs and also in the back, overlooking the water! A perfect outdoor dining, or drinking venue, for a summers day!
