Great snacks and drinks, loved the sofas. Not the best surround sound/screen in the world, however this really does not matter one bit. Wonderful cinema experience.

This is one of the oldest cinema in the country. It has the nostalgic feel of movies golden era of the 30s and 40s. Although it is small but we found it big enough to enjoy the movie. You buy a VIP ticket for sofa seat. The cinema is in the centre of Birmingham within a walking distance of new St train station. I don't this is the place where you want to watch your favourite films week in week. However, I would recommend it just to experience the atmosphere and you can make your own conclusion whether you want go back or not.

A great place to treat a loved one with a cinema while relaxing on a sofa. We went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show this we enjoyed sitting on a two seater sofa. You are given a menu to allow you to order snacks and drinks via a text message the drinks and snacks are brought to you discreetly by a waiter for you to enjoy with no interruption of the movie. After the movie you pay for your drinks in the foyer .

Definitely worth a visit. The oldest running cinema in the UK, it's quite small - but does have two screens. They keep to tradition in giving you old-fashioned tickets and leading you to old-fashioned seats.
Home-made cakes is a nice touch.

The only reason it's 4/5 rather than a straight 5 is because it's overly priced.

Been here a few times over the years, love all the classic films they show. Nice homemade cakes and fab to have a cocktail while watching a film.
