stayed there a couple of weeks ago for a work related purpose and found it a really nice experience. the room was very clean and spacious and the bed was amazing i could sprawl out and never reach both sides without growing and i am around 6 feet tall . aslo tha restaurant was very nice with a good menu in the evening and a fantastic buffet breakfast. i would definitely reccommend this hotel as a great stayover if you are travelling from the airport as its location is only 5 minutes away. so all in all a great nights sleep

We had a fantasic stay. Speedy check-in facilities on arrival. We had booked a family room which was very spacious. The fold out beds were very comfortable. Ample tea coffee etc. We had our evening meal in the hotel bar which was excellent and good value. Buffet breakfast was included. Superb variety. All food was piping hot.

Really great hotel, big room, nicely decorated.
My only issue is the breakfast charge of £8.20pp for an average buffet.
The staff were incredibly friendly and have a deal with Crown Cabs for a £5 fare to the NEC which seemed like a great deal.

There aren't a whole lot of restaurants near by, so we drove to Solihull to get food which is about 15 minutes away.

Overall, a really good price for a good hotel.

Room Tip: The lift takes you to the very beginning of a long corridor, so try to ask for one nearer the lift i...

This Preier Inn does exactly what it says on the tin. We were received with genuine warmth although we were only staying for one night to break the journey from South Wales to Yorkshire. The room was large, well maintained and comfortable;the bed was vast and the shower certainly woke us up properly! Breakfast was better than other budget hotels and in fact better than a more expensive hotel wher we stayed the following night. A good experience and we will certainly stay there again when driving north.

The usual Premier inn standards , good value and what you would expect from the chain, staff are polite and helpful .We were staying for a concert at the LG.
We arrived at about 16.00 and were advised we could walk to the LG or they could book us an advance taxi, we decided to see how far it was to walk for our selves, the gate for the car parks are next door to the hotel after all.
The walk is 25 mins at an easy pace, over or under a fence, through the car parks and past the security points, there is a dotted blue line that you can follow, but this does take you around a longer route.
On booking in we were asked if we wanted to book a table in the restaurant but the first available was at 18.30, with the concert staring at 19.30 we thought this was cutting it fine so decided to have a meal from the bar as advised by reception.
We went to the bar at 16.45 , no tables or seats available and people 2 deep at the bar, the restaurant was empty so we asked if we could eat there, again we were told no tables available until 18.30. The bar started to take orders for food at 17.00, the same time the restaurant opened, we were lucky enough to be standing next to a table a couple moved from into the restaurant so we ordered food at 17.05. so far so good.
The bar was getting really busy at this stage, but the restaurant was hardly a quarter full, the issue was when only one meal turned up, waiting patiently for mine I told my wife to start, after 5 mins I asked a passing waitress where was the second meal , she apologised and said that they were very busy and she would chase it up, 5 mins later she returned to say it would be there SOON, so we asked she take the other meal back and serve them together. This happened about 10 mins later with an apology for the issue-quote 'we are busy'. The food was fine and priced as you would expect, but a 20 minute gap between the first and then the two together arriving was a bit extreme.
At this stage I asked what looked the bar manager why the restaurant was still only half full yet the bar was 3-4 deep with people and no tables available, he said the hotel was full and there were two concerts on that night, one at the LG and another in Coventry. I would have thought this would have been a regular occurance and that they should have known how to work around this
So please note that although this hotel is next to the LG/NEC when it is busy they do struggle to cope with high volumes of people in what is a small bar and you may have difficulty ordering food dependant on your event.

2nd stay at this hotel now, booked it well in advance for a great price.

Once more, very pleased with the room, and also the great parking facilities, and not to mention my favourite part- the great showers - so strong.

Was a little busier this time, so a bit more atmosphear in the bar area. All the reception starff and kind and helpfull.

If ever in the area again - this is definetly the hotel of choice for me!

Room Tip: Only every stayed downstairs - not had any noisey experiences yet!
