“Delicious Italian food. Great service”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

This restaurant has recently come under new management. It is now a fantastic gem of an Italian restaurant . We have been there a number of times now. The food has been excellent. We particularly recommend the fillet steak, tortello and pannacotta.
The service is also fantastic, very friendly and attentive. One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to!

“Great Italian food”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

We visited this restaurant for the first time over the weekend with my parents who were visiting Birmingham. The food was excellent, as was the service. The menu was varied and interesting with lots of choices. We mostly had seafood which was very fresh, very tasty and well cooked. It was also nice to see that all the wines were Italian (with the majority being Sicilian), as I really like to try wines which are more unusual and that you can't just get in your local supermarket.
The prices, while more expensive than some other local restaurants, were definitely good value (especially given the large amount of seafood we had) and you could easily have a meal for no more than the local pub. The bill was around £140 for 4 people, and we had 3 courses each as well as a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of white wine.
We will definitely be returning - this is probably the best meal I have had in Birmingham!

“The best Italian food I have had in a very long time”
Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

I saw that this restaurant was highly rated on trip advisor and decided to take my mother there for her birthday. The restaurant is immaculate, well decorated and presented. The staff there are friendly and extremely attentive making you feel completely at your ease. I confess that i am very hard to please when it comes to eating out, however, the meal at dolce gusto was truly wonderful. The main meal was rich and delicious, and the dessert was certainly not your typical bought in Italian restaurant dessert. I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants in and around Birmingham and this is easily the best. It was fairly busy when i went, so Im guessing that word is spreading about how good this plac is.

“Excellent food and good wine”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Dolce Gusto is a new Sicilian restaurant in Harborne, Birmingham. We went there this week to celebrate our daughters' exam results and birthday. Everything about this restaurant was excellent - first rate food, good Sicilian wine and discreet but friendly service and good decor. Also good value with the meal for four with dessert and wine costing under £100. Highly recommended.
