Brilliant Band , Poor LG sound system , Acoustics at LG arena not as good as NIA, We were in block 3 and the speakers could have turned up louder so it sounded like you were in the music and not looking down on it!

The venue is very good from an accoustic point and the KOL were absolutely fantastic.

The visual display from the band was also cracking and I can't wait for their new albumn

As with any captive audience the beer and food prices are inflated but as you are treating yourseleves it's not too much to worry about.

Watch out for some the taxi drivers if you wait for one in the rank after the event - they ask a few of you where you want to go & pick the best price!

We visited from London to the LG Arena to see Kings of Leon.

The tickets we had were standing, we are used to going to a lot of arenas in London but found the LG arena was very efficent at getting people into the area and issuing out wristbands. The queues for the drinks and cash points were long but thats to be expected - good prices compared to London on beverages.
There are a range of food stalls inside the arena (non branded as far as im aware) which included pizza, hot dogs, burgers and various other fast food options.

Once into the standing arena there was good atmosphere and we got quite near to the front with little issue and with plenty of room to dance/move about. It wasnt an overly massive venue so i can imagine it being good view from any seating/standing view.

The main problem i had with the LG Arena was the issue of getting out and trying to get a taxi. There is no system whatsoever and totally insane - we called a local taxi number from google and they agreed to meet us at the entrance of the crowne plaza nearby so we walked down and so many people were sitting on the grass around there and basically pouncing on cabs as soon as they pulled in! there needs to be a proper system of a taxi rank or something to get a bit more organisation.

Venue is OK, not great, not awful. Layout is just like other venues, floor seating and then seating round the edges.

Been to many events/concerts here, Jasper Carrotts Christmas shows to Crufts and everything in between over the years, the latest being The Who 2 days ago. Must say the seats are more comfortable these days. Is it me or has the volume been reduced? Saw The Quo for the umpteenth time awhile ago and they definitely seemed quieter. It is a central place to get to with loads of organised parking but as all tickets are quite expensive is it really necessary to charge £8 parking fee - seems greedy to me.
