After a couple of failed attempts to book via e-mail I gave up and phoned to book our LivingSocial deal. It was a Saturday evening 7.30pm, unfortunately we were seated at a table very close to the door which meant every time the door opened or closed we were subjected to a great draught blowing straight at us - there were no other tables free to change to. The tables and chairs are almost as if made for "diddy men" as small and with a very low back which proved uncomfortable to be sat at. We both had scallops for starters which were really lovely. For main I had Sea Bass with Hollandaise sauce which was very tasty but unusual I thought to be served with either vegetables or boiled potatoes, not both - he had the Steak which was a little over done for the medium request. All in all a good value voucher but not convinced we would go again if paying full price. The food could have done with being served hotter as only warm. Not sure I would want to be eating there on a Friday or Saturday evening when busy with people - more of a midweek venue I feel - lucky for us it was the 1st Saturday after Christmas and so relatively quiet and once our meal was finished we moved to more comfortable seats.
