I visited the Meriden Bar and Restaurant for a pint and snack whilst flying from Birmingham Airport and whilst the cider was fine it was extortionately priced... I know that airports are always expensive but this seemed beyond that!
We also ordered a portion of chips and paid £4 for about 10 cheap oven chips... Furthermore they didn't have any vinegar at all on the premises!
Not worth the money at all and would have been far better off grabbing a boots meal deal.

All day breakfast was £12.50! It was nice but expensive. Good quality coffee.
Excellent service from laura.
Clean and tidy.

Considering the breakfast are £10.00 each, the sausage is very small, the eggs were burnt on the bottom, the yolk was hard, the fried tomato cold and the hash browns barely warm! The nicest part was the toast, although the butter was completely melted!

The food did come out quickly but I wouldn't eat here again!!!

Quiet evening and waiting for my delayed flight, I went to the bar and ordered the pulled pork burger and a glass of Chardonnay.
I then watched as the waitress poured two different wines into a glass.... I'm really not a complainer and had a tough day and really couldn't be bothered to say anything.
Then the food was ready, sitting on the kitchen pass. The chef called for service many times and nobody came, there was nobody just one cheery girl behind the bar, serving people. On the floor there was no-one.... 8 minutes later ( yes i timed it) 4 staff all came walking in together, perhaps they all went for a short break at the same time, that's how it looked. Then my food was slowly delivered to me. Cold. When the young , inexperienced waiter delivered the food, he said 'enjoy' to which I replied 'it would have been better 10 minutes ago, but instead I've been watching it sit on the counter' he giggled ( clearly no training in customer service) I don't think it was a nasty laugh, just inexperience in how to communicate with customers. The food was okay, but the service was awful... I watched for an hour as a bunch of teenagers walk around clearing tables, nobody paying attention to the chef calling service. No leadership and no care here. This was really an awful experience. Get on the plane hungry, don't eat here.
