This is a fun and informative trip for those interested in good beer and brewing.
Meeting at the brewery tap the Brown Lion which is only a couple of minutes walk from Jewellrey 1/4 station, we (party of 20) were walked down to the brewery (5 min walk) by a member of the pub staff.
The brewery itself is in an Industrial estate, and is nothing itself to look at. We were welcomed inside this unassuming building by one of the owners and brewers, who poured out pints of "yellow" a seasonal beer. He then proceeded to talk about in a humourous fashion about the brewery and their brews, and how they were connected with the city.
After another top up we moved down to the other end of the building and the brewing process was well explained.
Altogether a pleasant couple of hours with 3 pints thrown in, close to the heart of the city, well worth a trip.
