I recently stayed with a friend as we were visiting the Barclaycard Arena. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in quickly and advised us on parking and breakfast arrangements. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Much nicer than some more expensive hotels I've stayed in.
It is in a great location for the Barclaycard Arena, which is approx a 10 minute walk away along the canal. It is close to bars and restaurants, and located within easy driving distance of the major motorways.
I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others.

I found this hotel via velobirmingham website in 2016, roll forward one year friendly staff very helpful room clean and tidy, bed comfortable and good parking facilities made this a good location to stay.

Spent 2 nights here with friends in 2 twin rooms. One room was great with no problems, comfy beds and plenty of room. Other room had a couple of issues though - the dock for the keycard kept coming loose so the lights only stayed on 20 seconds or so (in the end reception said the coil comes loose and you have to push it into the wall - maybe they should look at just fixing it properly and permanently), and then the next day the cards wouldn't open the door. Shower was decent enough.

Breakfast was a bit miserable - stale croissants, toast, cereal and the cheapest cuts of ham I've ever seen. On the second morning we left it and ate elsewhere.

Great location though, 10 mins walk from New St station.

10 min from new street train station, close to ICC, very clean, polite staff. Should have a better breakfast. Value for money. Very good wifi. Free coffee or hot chocolate. Nice and comfortable beds, plus quiet rooms.

Staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean. It's only a 10-15 minute walk into town. The room was fine and reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable - we slept well. Didn't hear any noise. Overall a good hotel for a weekend break.
