Very warm welcome, extremely helpfull staff, very clean room and comfortable bed, very quiet. Everything worked, air conditioning etc. Breakfast next morning was better than the usual continental atyle breakfast. Staff on reception checked that the trains and Metro were running (there was a blizzard that night and deep snow on the ground) and called a taxi for us.

Quiet hotel, rooms clean & reception staff were friendly. Now for for negatives - beds uncomfortable, breakfast very basic, cooked options were rubbery scrambled eggs and horrible sausages, adequate selection of cereals, pastries, toast etc. For the same price we could have have had a Premier Inn which has a much superior breakfast and comfy beds.

I stayed one night for business here and can say it is a good hotel, conveniently located near the city centre. I stayed when it had snowed in the previous days, but the steps to the side were not cleared and very icy I nearly slipped. Breakfast was basic, but plenty, you have to get your own at a buffet. Room was large and I like it that there is only a shower, no bath. I like the two types of pillows they offer, which are clearly marked. On request I was provided with herbal teas.

I stayed for one night in March during the snow and it was a great hotel. The location is perfect, not far at all from Broad Street, The Bullring and the train station. The staff were all nice and friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was good and theres vending machines and ice machine too if you get peckish at night. Very quiet, didn't hear a peep out of any other guests at night. There is also security on the door from 11pm onwards and you have to tell him your name so he can check on the list before letting you back in which is good as it stops any random people getting in. Parking wasn't very clear, we had to stop on the street outside which was full of parked cars and ask where to park, turns out parking is around the corner and inside the building on the left. There is a lift in the car park though which leads up to the hotel. I will definitly stay in this hotel again.

Stayed for one night on the way to London for the weekend. Arrived about 5.30pm and was greeted by a pleasant receptionist who explained about breakfast and lifts etc. We asked about places to eat and she also gave us some really useful information about the local eateries. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was self service and there was a good choice for the continental one. There were a couple of cooked items but didn’t go there. It’s a little off the beaten track but only about 10-15 minutes from the station. Well worth the £55 we paid for the night.

Thoroughly enjoyed 3 nights at this hotel. All the staff from reception, cleaning, security & breakfast were all extremely friendly & helpful. We had a great stay in this hotel. It is centrally located, only 10 mins walk to New Street & 5 mins to Broad Street & Jewellery Quarter. There is a fabulous traditional pub "The Shakespear" next door that services great beer and great pub grub. a great stay. Many thanks to everybody who works at the hotel. Well done!

Spent 2 nights at this hotel on a very cold snowy weekend. The staff at reception were welcoming, smiley young men and women. Check in was smooth and when one of our party arrived early due to change in travel arrangements (due to weather conditions), she was able to check in immediately. Accommodation - basic as expected but excellent standard of cleanliness, and plenty of space in rooms. Very quiet for amount of guests in hotel. Breakfast good with continental and cooked breakfast offered. Well run breakfast service with food being topped up often rather than lots of food left to dry out. Never felt rushed to finish breakfast of to check out. Lack of full restaurant facilities not an issue as hotel close to city centre. The Lost and Found on Bennet Hill is worth checking out.
