We stayed at this hotel on 22 March 2014. We've stayed here one time before and the rooms are excellent. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, the room facilities are fantastic and the bathrooms are lovely and well lit. We had an excellent nights sleep here and it's within a 5 minute walk of the LG Arena, which was ideal.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the food. We had something to eat in the bar before going to the LG Arena and I had the 'gourmet Aberdeen Angus burger'. Unfortunately it didn't live up to its name. The burger was dry, hard and gristly and the bacon that came on it was inedible as there was a ridiculous amount of fat on it and you could barely see any meat, let alone remove the fat from it.
Breakfast is fantastic but expensive. We paid just over £11 for it as we paid in advance when we checked in. If you don't do this it'll cost you just over £15 on the day. The food at breakfast was lovely, although for the price you pay for it I think they could afford some better quality sausages...mine had a sharp sliver of bone in it, which put me off eating any more.
Other than the food though, it's a lovely hotel, perfect for a night away!More
