“Perfect for a city centre stay”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

2nd visit to this hotel, and receieved the same quality of stay.
Check in was quick and efficient., plenty of staff on duty to keep the queues moving.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable -free wifi is always a bonus. Bathroom is clean with a decent shower, toiletries seem of good quality.
Bar is pricey - there are plenty of pubs nearby that are much much cheaper.
Will stay here again - great value stay.

Moved here after a bad experience at the Travelodge. The hotels are only 100yards apart but a whole world different!
Brand new hotel. Great reception area and bar. Breakfast included - very nice.
Rooms lovely and high spec. sofa bed as comfy as a normal bed.
Only paid £55 for 2 of us inc breakfast - bargain.
Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night as a treat for my husband since having our daughter.
Cannot fault this hotel.
Location is perfect, on broad street where all the bars/clubs and restaurants are. Only 10min walk to the mailbox which is full of more places to eat. A 15-20 min walk to the shops including the Bullring Shopping centre.

The rooms were spotless. Had everything we needed, wide screen Tv, radio,Alarm clock, tea/coffee facilities, iron, hair dryer. All shampoo etc is provided too.
The beds were very comfortable.
Even though the Hotel is on a very busy street We couldn't hear a thing and we were right at the front of the Hotel.

Breakfast was fantastic. Everything you can imagine, both cooked and continental. The place in which you ate breakfast was very clean and stylish. With Large screen Tvs playing the news.

We booked through Asda Travel and got our stay at a very cheap price, but if i was go again and it was more i would still pay it as it is worth it.

All staff were very friendly. Was impressed that there was security on the front door late at night, which made you feel very secure that random people were not able to just get in.

The car parking is easy. As they don't have their own car park, they have an agreement with a car park about 2mins walk away called q park where you get a discount and so it costs £10 for 24hrs.
you just need to ask when you check out for a voucher.

So pleased with this find. Intend to go again next year to Birmingham and would use this hotel for sure.

Would definitely recommend.

Good value comfortable hotel with awkward access. Friendly reception. Clean comfortable room with good internet access. Difficult parking - try the Euro Car Park at Five Ways which offers the best value.

I use this hotel very regularly for business it is great value and great rooms and it fits the business tick box I.e. good size room free wifi and a complimentary breakfast (this is a proper breakfast not just toast and coffee like some other hotel chains. this hotel is also very good should you wish to use it for leisure due to its good location.

Hubby booked this hotel at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious enough with a comfortable bed and extremly nice bathroom. The shower was hot and easy to work (I find some need a degree in engineering to operate!).

The power is operated by your key card so if you need to split up, it would be best to ask for an additional card (this was provided quickly and easily when I requested one).

Breakfast is buffet with cereal, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, self toaster, hot water urns to make your own hot drink, cold drinks on tap and a selection of cooked foods. Everything I tried was tasty though hubby mourned there were only scrambled eggs no fried available, and no mushrooms either.

Locally there are plenty of places to eat, we tried the Bombay Mix, the Flaming Dragon and The Figure of eight - all were very good.

There is no on-site car parking but there are plenty of car parking spaces behind the hotel at approximately £5-6 per day.

Its a bit of a walk to the bullring and centre of town but those of a healthy constitution could probably walk to the bullring in about 20-30 minutes.

There is a fitness centre but we didn't try this.

I would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: We requested a high floor next to our family and this was readily accommodated. There are 17 floors...

Arranged for a party of 16 to stay for 1 night and found it to be very good value. The room was well equipped and one of my priorities is always a comfy bed. This was achieved and there were many positive comments from the group including cleanliness and good breakfast.
This hotel is located in busy Broad St but found it to be quiet and allowed for a good nights sleep. If I was to return to Birmingham I would certainly consider a return visit.
