Owner description: The National Motorcycle Museums award winning facilities provides a truly unique venue for your conference, seminar, banquet or function. Breathtaking displays of literally hundreds of fully restored British motorcycles are on hand to provide an extra attraction to your delegates. We aim to offer more than a unique venue, however. We know that the success of any function is dependent upon the backing and support of an experienced and caring staff. 13 luxuriously appointed and newly renovated suites, ranging from just 5 to up to 1000 delegates offer the flexibility to suite most requirements. The National Motorcycle Museum is at the hub of the country’s motorway system and rail network, with Birmingham International railway station just five-minutes taxi ride away. Access from everywhere within the UK is direct and overseas visitors praise the excellent international services provided at Birmingham Airport, which is less than two miles in distance away. The National Exhibition Centre is also near the Museum complex and we offer vast car parking facilities. Many of our clients are ‘blue-chip’ companies from home and overseas. They come back to us time after time – we know you will too, and look forward to seeing you to discuss your requirements in the near future.

The museum is a place of pure magic, beauty, passion, legends, pioneering engineering, heritage, history, fame, success and deep tragedy !!! Yes I stood in the ashes and could not hold back the tears. My Dad was a Director at James and Velocette in the 1950s before the crash of the British bike industry. He gave many a bike racer their first factory bike ride in those days, he was well connected in the industry. After Velo went bump, my Dad was offered a Directorship of the ACU, which meant he would have to relocate his whole family down to London which he decided wasn't right at that time. He rode a 1955 Vinnie up until his death at 78 years in 2007. R.I.P. Dad.
My Grandad was a biker c1920

I would camp in a tent inbetween the aisles of bikes just to spend more time in the presence of so many utterly amazing motorcycles, their past famous riders and the incredible history !

The museum is easy to find, free parking, easy access, a lovely building, a large shop (with models, DVDs, books, clothing and memorabilia), toilets and disabled toilets, a reasonable cafe upstairs (with lift), huge reception area with seating and bikes to look at before you pay to enter the museum.

The motorcycle museum is pure magic, GO THERE !!!!!
If you are into bikes, don't think about it, just do it.

This is a small museum with plenty of easy parking. The exhibits and shop are very interesting. There is a very good and inexpensive cafe on the first floor.

Seeing the history of the motorcycle from its infancy to modern times was absolutely fantastic especially the earliest of them totally inspiring.

Just OK - been here twice now and neither experience was that impressive! Food was acceptable for large scale catering, venue itself is pleasant enough.
