“A fine restoration”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

The Town Hall has benefited from a very expensive renovation, access and facilities have been brought into the 21st century and the acoustics greatly improved. A worthy venue for all musical genres

“Amazing Value Concert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

'Rising Star' concerts on Sunday mornings at 11am are amazing value. We have just heard a French mezzo soprano and pianist playing a wide selection of music. Stunningly talented, brilliant acoustics at the Town Hall, beatifully restored building. £7-50 for a concert followed by a glass of sherry and a chance to chat to the performers - amazing value. Sadly very poorly attended. If you live near Birmingham, go! Use it or lose it.

“How you going to make your dream come true”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Visited with elderly in-laws for a Xmas choir evening, absolutely marvellous. Entrance and toilet area very wheelchair friendly, steward on hand to guide, inside the hall is a brash testimony to Victorian bravado this is Empire at its height. Acoustics are great but seating a little hard on the posterior. The forthcoming. Programme is a delight and I happily go back. A proper little Brummy treasure.

“Wonderfully refurbished musical venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Great acoustics in a wonderful setting in heart of the city. I've been to several small group or single artist concerts and have yet to be disappointed.

“Refurbished historic hall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

Birmingham Town Hall was refurbished a few years ago and looks very smart and attractive. It's a historic place and a great venue for smaller concerts. The acoustics are also very good and the seating comfortable. Recommended.
