“Not your run of the mill Italian”
Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

Dined here on Saturday evening with a party of 5. Seated swiftly and drinks order taken soon after. Place was full with a lively atmosphere. Menu extensive with the waitress having to return 3 times as we were spoit for choice. Complimentary bread oil and olives provided. Nice touch. Meals on the whole were lovely but perhaps lacking in some seasoning for pasta dishes. My partner had to return his steak as it was cold. This was swiftly dealt with with apology. No recompense made on the bill. Puddings were delightful and nicely presented. I liked that you could order prosecco by the glass. Service was efficient and courteous. Dining room modern and airy. Will definitely go back to try some more of the menu

“Great lunchtime menu”
Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

We had the lunchtime menu, 2 courses for 12.99. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being too over the top. We were brought delicious olives and bread, a nice touch especially as so many other places charge! Food was well presented and really tasty. I can recommend the cod which was served with lovely flavoursome vegetables. Restaurant is smart and very clean but not at all pretentious. Can't wait to have lunch there again will definitely return.

“Superb place for a pre-concert dinner”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

My wife and I went to this restaurant on June 11th before going to a Symphony Hall concert. It's only 10 minutes walk away along Lionel Street. We found the restaurant via a web search and made a reservation on-line - assuming that it would be less crowed than the places closer to the concert venue - it was. The food was excellent. I had the halibut and scallops from the 'specials' menu. I hope it's on next time we visit. This was a gem of a find - with service every bit as efficient and professional (and friendly) as you could want. Definitely recommended.

“Lovely place for lunch”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

We visited this restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon purely because it had outdoor seating.

We were very pleased to find the food was also of a great standard.

The service was very efficient and the ingredients were clearly fresh and good quality.

There are certainly better Italians in the city centre but this really had a lovely atmosphere and I would definitely return.
