I went to this restaurant with work. Brilliant food, service and atmosphere. One of the best Italian meals I have had in UK.

“2nd time in as many months. Still fantastic.”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Review says it all, alongside my previous review. This place is just brilliant all round. Had the spicy sausage pasta and a garlic bread which is as big as a pizza in itself. Can't say enough kind words about the place.

“Excellent but no consistent!”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

I visited for the 2nd time last Saturday. The restaurant was busy as usual and so the atmosphere was buoyant. As a party of 4 we all ordered starters and main courses. I chose the langoustines on skewers with monkfish and cod cheeks which sounded amazing but I was a little disappointed. The reason being that there was only 2 langoustines with 1 cod cheek and 1 piece of monkfish so 4 mouthfuls in total and for £19 I thought was excessive...if this had been ponti de legno in Moseley it would have been a plateful... Having got over the main course I ordered a cappuccino which I had before on my first visit which then was accompanied by an amaretto chocolate mousse instead of a biscotti, a nice touch ! but this time nothing, no mousse, no biscotti just the cappuccino hence no consistency

All in all a nice meal but a little disappointed 2nd time around.

“My favourite Italian”
Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

Great food, lovely touches such as complimentary olives and delicious fresh bread. There are mains ranging from £8 - £30 so it doesn't need to cost a fortune to experience great food, friendly service and a lovely location. There's also a nice area to eat outside in the summer to people watch.

“Ticks all the boxes”
Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

Visited on spur of the moment on a busy Saturday night . Restaurant was very busy but we were offered a table if we waited at the bar for a few minutes . Bar staff very friendly and knowledgable . Chose a very nice bottle of red and were seated a few minutes later . Staff friendly . Large selection of foods and specials . Only neg comment would be a larger selection of deserts would be nice . Food delicious and very fresh tasting . With excellent ingredients . 2nd visit and looking forward to return again .
