Due to the bad weather during our short stay in Birmingham, we dropped into "National Sea Life Centre" and found it really enjoyable. I hate spending time in museums so it was a perfect alternative indoor attraction to them. Despite considering plenty of different fish/ sea animal species, we had an opportunity to watch a 3D movie with some effects and actually to spend a great time.
I believe people of different ages could find visiting this attraction interesting.

Love this place, second time we have been, great access for kids lots for them to see, only down side is food is grim from machines, make sure you take a picnic

Soft play area when you need a sit down and kids are still bubbling

Within easy reach of parking (expensive though 7£ for day )

“Watery wonderland”

A fabulous place - really interesting and well laid out. You need to allow at least 2 hours and preferably longer to appreciate it all. It's quite pricey but worth the outlay.

“Kids love it! Adults well its fish!”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

Took my daughter for a visit as we have a merlin annual pass. She enjoys looking at all the different fish especially the "nemo" tank. I also like the tunnel as this gives you a better view of the turtles and the sharks. The happy feet 4d feature is good but it may scare younger kids. To be honest not much more you can say about the place. Downsides are can be quick to walk around for the admission price, the food area is so tiny as they have converted some of it into a pottery activity. Would return as we have the pass but would not pay full price.
