Excellent venue for a more intermit gig or show.

The seating is superb and the sound amazing. The Hilton garden is a good value hotel for location just behind the ICC.

We visited Birmingham symphony hall last year to see Laura Marling in concert, the sound was excellent as is the set up of the hall itself, we are also looking to go and see some more music here in the future. However, in my opinion the symphony hall is not quite so good for comedy, we went to see Rhod Gilbert and Stephen Merchant on separate occasions and the hall is so vast that the ambience and laughter gets lost somewhat. Warwick arts center, which we visit quite regularly is the exact opposite of the symphony hall. Although Warwick art center holds around 1500 people it is quite compact lending to a brilliant atmosphere for comedy shows, we went to see a music gig there though and the sound was terrible.
