Particularly special and such a contrast to its sister venue the Town Hall. Visit both and enjoy the very different settings for a wide range of musical experiences.

“The Four Seasons by Candlelight”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

On December 30 we attended the Four Seasons By Candlelight afternoon concert at Symphony Hall. The Mozart Festival Orchestra were in period costume and played in a candle-lit setting. Handel, Charpentier, Bach, Pachelbel, Purcell and Vivaldi - the programme was varied and stimulating. The introductory comments to each piece by the orchestra director David Juritz were informative and at time very humorous. It all added to the occasion. We sat in the choir section and enjoyed an amazing view not only of what was happening on stage but also of the full sweep of Symphony Hall itself. It was all very impressive and inspiring. It was a great afternoon.

“Music”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

The building was designed to have great acoustics, this combined with good seating and good views of stage makes this a brilliant venue, reasonable price too.
