Just got back from a one-night stay after visiting family and was very impressed. There was everything we could have wanted, and a friendly welcome upon arrival. We requested a cot as we were travelling with our 12 month old daughter, and one was brought straight to the room already made up which meant one less thing for us to do, which was nice. The room was more than adequate, with a lovely big bed and spacious spotless bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful, incorporating both continental and full english, as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. We ate dinner in the lounge bar as we didn't have the energy to go out and find a restaurant. Tasty food and prices not too bad for a hotel. My only issue with the whole experience was the fact that the people in the room above ours decided to have a bit of a party at 3 o'clock in the morning, TV blaring, talking and laughing at the tops of their voices. This went on for nearly two hours and put a dampner on things. Obviously this was in no way the fault of the hotel, but was irritating to say the least, especially with a young baby and knowing that I had a long drive home the next day!
All in all, a good quality hotel which we would go back to again.More
