We stayed for three nights in Feb half term, using the hotel as a base to explore Birmingham and its surrounds.
We had a family room (2 adults, 2 kids) which was very spacious and clean. Despite the very busy road outside it was well insulated in regard to noise and it posed no problem.
The room was great value, especially when the breakfast was factored in.
The staff were all very friendly and provided a personal touch and engaged happily and naturally without being intrusive or corporately programmed - especially at breakfast.
The only negative we would highlight for a slightly extended stay is the menu at the attached pub which is totally carvery centred. While the food is fine and good value, a bit more variety would be a plus. That said, wie did enjoy a nice curry across the road in the parade of shops as an alternative one evening.
All in all, we had a great stay. Good location and value make this hotel a good choice as a base to explore the West Midlands
