Very clean and beautiful building. Nice to take a train. Nice caissiers and easy to find your way, the trains are clean and hardly never late. Prices are affordable.

“An Intimate Railway Station, less 'commercial' than New St Station”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Chiltern Railways 'run from here' to London Marylebone Station, the whole Experience is far more relaxed & personal, the Trains aren't so crowded & although the Train stops a few more times than the 'express' from New St. in total it only takes an extra 20mins or so. There is a really great Cafe in the Station, which is always immaculate, well stocked & appears very well run. The whole experience is a little like 'stepping back in time', its a really good Station

“Nice quaint city centre station”
Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

Moor Street is one of the main train stations to serve Birmingham.

It is based on the eastern side of the city commanding views of the nearby Selfridges department store.

The station was revamped and brought back into use in 2000's and goes back to its Edwardian hey day.

Regular visitors to Moor Street are the Shakespear Express which will take you to Stratford for the day.

All in all its a friendly, clean and efficient station and the tea room is worth a visit if youre ever delayed.

“Well worth a quick look even if you are not travelling”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

A beautiful old station that must be a listed building. The whole station has a quaint charm. Aside from the trains everything else from the signage, architecture and feel is of the 30s.

Well worth a visit if you are in Brum. There are precious few stations left like this in the UK so this is a little gem.
