My friend paid for me to see War Horse 1 Nov. Excellent show except speech wasnt always audible. The black horse had really sad eyes and the horses were wonderful. The show was packed but the staff coped and worked very hard to satisfy bar requests. Well worth visiting.

The foyer, bars, cafe, restaurant were all very pleasant. However, most of the time in the theatre is spent seated. We were in the circle and while the sight line was uninterrupted the "seat pitch", to borrow an aircraft term, is not at all generous.

The whole experience was first class except for a approx. 10 year old sat next to me who did nothing but fidget, place feet on seats and kick me in the thigh. I had to push her foot away but she still continued. I think the Hippodrome should include an announcement for parents to keep them under control except for pantomine of course. I paid a lot of money for the ticket and without this girl it would have been perfect! The staging and actors were just incredible...definitely worth seeing!!

Brilliant theatre. Have visited for many performances the latest being War Horse. Very clean with perfect amenities whether visiting just for a performance or taking advantage of the Circle restaurant too. VIP package is a bit expensive but worth it as it includes pre dinner drinks and canopies as well as a programme and dinner

We recently went to see War Horse and it was our first visit to the Hippodrome. Found the theatre without any fuss and it is in a great location.
