Stayed for one night and just what was needed to put your head down for a few hours after a night in town. paid £50 for a twin room with breakfast. Just a 5 minute taxi ride from Broad Street. Booking in was hassle free. Very busy hotel, friendly and helpful staff and a great bar area serving half price cocktails, mulled wine and mince pies. We didn't use the Spa but full use was included in the price we paid! A good atmosphere here and great value for money.
The rooms were basic but comfortable. I'd say the hotel is in need of redecoration throughout but it did the job for us. Plenty on offer for breakfast. Plenty of car parking space, and FREE!!
I have stayed in many hotels in Birmingham when on a night out and for the price we paid, we would definitely stay here again.

A real mixed experience at this hotel.

Booked room at £98 for 1 night, £105 with breakfast. Not too bad cost wise for location. Walk into main town area didn't really take long and is easy enough.

Reception looks alright, staff were friendly enough and efficient. Did notice a few people coming to desk with complaints though.

Corridors and general interior decor looks quite bad beyond reception area. Dirty plates lying on floor? Generally dated. Dreaded opening bedroom door.... But what a surprise.

The room was massive. Deep carpet, nicely decorated and the bathroom was really smart with water-jet bath, separate shower unit, twin sinks, separate toilet. Really pleased.

Came back to room in evening and there was a function on in the bar below the room. I might as well have been on the dance floor. Noise was terrible, hardly any noise insulation. It finally stopped at 00:30. Really poor and a let down.

Good location, only cost a tenner for a taxi from town at 4am Sunday morning. Repairs are needed in the room, but it was perfectly adequate for my weekend away. Polite staff, impressive reception etc.

Located on a very busy road (at rush hour at least). Easy, free parking. Staff friendly and very helpful. Clean, but "tired" room. The shower room was also clean and looked as if it had been recently "renovated". Several rooms had "Renovation in progress" signs on the doors!! Decor, however, needs complete overhaul. Not all wall light fittings in room or shower room in working order. Electric socket in corridor hanging off wall! Pre-booking breakfast results in cost saving. "Pub" style meal came in a well cooked, large portion and good value for money.

this hotel is great for your stay in Birmingham, just a 20 min walk to Broad Street and its leisure facilities are fantastic..however the rooms are falling apart, held together with gaffer tape and in real need of decoration. the staff were very helpful and friendly. the breakfast is an exorbitant £8.50 each if you wanted it, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. would stay again if no where else, but it really was only because they have a leisure club we chose it in the first place. they need to invest some money in redecorating and new furnishings, even the towels were frayed and bitty.a travelodge is far better value.

Room Tip: not close to a lift. we had side room which was quiet away from traffic, but hotel in general seemed...

The hotel's restaurant was much better than expected and a very nice steak for £15.00. The 'pub' style meals also looked good and great value for money. The rooms are basic but clean. Not in the centre of Birmingham but accessible by taxi or public transport. I stayed here as I was attending a meeting at the hotel. The fish tank in the reception area was very dirty and does not give out a good first impression of the hotel. The breakfast could also be improved.

I have stayed in this hotel about 6 times in the past 18months. close to broad street, clean, free car parking, it also has a swimming pool and a gym, and bus stop 2mins away. TRI Fridays is 2 doors away along with a very good Indian. really good base value for money. hotel has been getting different work done every time i have been hear so i would say there has been a few changes for the better since i was last there.
