Staying in Birmingham for two years to study; woktastic has always been the place for casual gathering with friends to enjoy Japanese Cuisine.
It cost about £13~£14 per person for the eat-all-you-can, and as a Sashimi lover; the sashimi sushi has more rice than the sashimi itself, just about 5 plates of those and you'll really full. The best thing about the eat-all-you-can is when you wait for a while, the chef will prepare new set of dishes to put on revolver belt and so you just have to wait for the next surprises! whether it is takoyaki or tempura!
However, the overall value for the eat-all-you-can is not really there unless you can eat about 20plates to cover the cost of £13~£14. The sushi has more rice than the fillings, the takoyaki has only one octopus in it and more flour.
I did tried ala carte before, I ordered tori curry rice if i remembered, it was all right.
lastly, sitting by the bar watching the chef preparing the plates are quite amusing, especially when they fried noodles/rice :D
