We booked a table 'on spec', and what a find! There was a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were really helpful and friendly, making good suggestions about menu choice. The menu had a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, and they were willing to change a particular dish to meet personal preferences. The food was quite simple, very well cooked and delicious to eat! We will be back, although next time we will ask for a table away from the coffee machine! We went on a Monday, and the restaurant was busy - so booking is probably advisable.

My wife and I simply love the food, the atmosphere and the service here. Food is authentic and of a high quality. We usually order the chelloo kebabs and rice but the menu is all wonderful. We also love the tea and custard at the end of the meal. The staff have always been attentive and courteous.
The restaurant is a little restricted for table space but this doesn't detract from the overall excellent experience, however at busy times you may have to wait in the doorway or outside.

What a find. Thought we'd try it instead of our usual restaurant choices, great decision. Food was brilliant, fantastic sized portions - you certainly won't leave hungry.

All the food was of a very high quality. The salad was a bit heavy on the mint vinaigrette but that's just personal taste. Will know to ask for less next time.

What made this place stand out was the warm welcome, helpful staff who gave information about the menu and were really professional and friendly. They offered an extra rice to sample (and didn't charge us extra for it) and it's these little things that make a place stand out these days.

Please keep up the good work. Thanks to all the staff for such a lovely evening we will certainly be back soon.

Have visited here several times. Our experience brought justice to Iranian hospitality. The food was simple well presented and delicious. Service was warm and personal.
I can honestly say here its the small things that count and the staff's attentiveness and complimentary birthday cake slice was well appreciated.
I will definitely be returning.
Keep up the great work!!

this place was unexpected in a good way. having drove past the restaurant numerous times, we took the plunge to visit a thursday evening. it got very busy as muslims wanted to open their fasts their (ifftar) as it was ramadan. however, that did not negatively reflect on the food. it was delcious. chicken kebabs were tasty (and not dry), lamb was succulent, rice was amazing and the salads were very moreish. good portions too.

the man in charge (we think) was delightful and offered us an iranian sweet dish alongside bakklava and iranian tea (served in a giant teapot, enough for 10 let alone 2!). would defintely go there again. and all for £15 a head.

a little gem in birmingham. i hope this place keeps on going; its what this city needs.
