Description: Fine Food; Live Music; Great Times! Where Music Entertainment Lives! The Jam House opened on 23 April 1999 creating a unique music experience that combines rhythm 'n' blues, soul, jazz and pop every night of the week together with imaginative international food. This very individual venue is supported by boogie-woogie king, TV presenter and pianist Jools Holland who rocked the place on the opening night and will be dropping in from time to time. Situated within the exclusive setting of St. Paul's Square, the JamHouse is a unique Birmingham venue with a history of music and fine dining. The relaxed ambience of this Georgian building coupled with our sophisticated catering make the JamHouse an experience that you will certainly impress family, friends and the employees and clients that you value the most. Stylish, yet informal, The Jam House is spread over three airy floors and holds up to 600 people. The open plan, top floor restaurant has seating for over 80 people and is very popular for corporate events and business/social lunches. The stage, dance area and informal seating can be found on the first floor along with a state-of-the-art bar running the width and height of the room. The ground floor hosts another impressive bar and seating area. An events co-ordinator is available if required, and we can also offer superior audio-visual presentation equipment. Our outstanding facilities are available from Sunday to Wednesday for private events.

Had been very excited about going here for the first time. Website makes it all look fab. In hindsight that's all just photography. The food was lukewarm and the portions tiny, and I mean tiny. Thank God my friend did not want her big lump of halumi cheese deep fried in batter - yes you heard right! I was so hungry after my 3 inch long piece of fish, tablespoon of rice, tablespoon of spinach (actually it may have been cabbage, not sure, just green and squelchy), that I actually ate her leftovers!!! 20 quid for a mediocre bottle of Chenin blanc, again lukewarm. The band after were pretty good but the drinks are so expensive and the place is so crowded, it really wasn't worth the effort, so we sat for an hour without a drink and went home. Soooooo disappointed. Next time we are in Birmingham we will just go for a decent curry x

We went to have a meal here and listen to a jazz group. The set meal was very good value for money and the jazz group were superb. It was so good, we returned the next evening for another excellent meal and listened to Dr. Feelgood! The ambience of the restaurant was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful which made for a wonderful experience.

Went here initially on the proviso of seeing 80's/90's band the Christians. Restaurant is elevated and if you dine from 9.00pm on onwards you get your table for the night. Four course meal and entertainment for £35.00 per head was amazing.
View of band stage was amazing. Atmosphere was also superb.
All four of us agereed the food here is amazing and puts most reestaurants to shame. My only criticism was the lamb mixed grill. One sausage, one tiny cutlet and a sweetbread was just way too small. That said the fish dishes and the other dishes were amazing.
Also, must say the staff from the door/security people to the waiting staff are incredibly friendly. We shall definitely be returning.
