There are so many things I loved from this place I don't know where to start!

The ambiance is cozy and elegant yet feels like a family restaurant. We went on a Friday night and even if all the tables were booked the atmosphere was quiet and not noisy at all. Actually it was very romantic (I recommend the corner table if you are a couple!)

The food is just delicious! Massive portions and for us being vegetarians it was a treat as they have plenty of options ! Reasonable price with excellent Mediterranean wine.

Service is faultless and even the chef takes time to pop in to the tables to say hello as check if you were happy with the good. Lovely touch.

We will definitely go back when in the area and we can't recommend it enough! A little gem in the heart if Warwick!

My family and I wanted to try The Aubergine, being familiar with Turkish food from plenty of visits to family in North London, where turkish restaurants are plentiful. We wanted to see if the Warwick version measured up - and we were not disappointed! We decided to order two 'Sultan's Feasts' between the four of us, which proved to be an excellent choice. We got a wide and varied selection of meats that had been cooked on the open grill, and plenty of rice, bread, and meze to accompany it. The portion size was huge, and could easily have been shared between 6 people instead of 4. We loved the food and wine, and we will definitely be back soon!

We were lucky to find this hidden gem on our recent visit to Warwick. We have never eaten Turkish food before but it was amazing. As a vegetarian I often struggle to find restaurants that provide a variety of dishes but The selection at the aubergine provided a perfect choice. The quantity of food was far too much for us but we were more annoyed at ourselves for not being able to finish it as it tasted very good.
If we are ever in this area again this would be our first choice restaurant.
Book early though as people were turned away and we managed to secure a table for two on a second sitting as we were happy to eat late.

Firstly, book your table, the restaurant is not terribly large and it gets filled up quickly.
There were 4 of us dining, we chose the hot and cold meze starters, which were lovely, the bread was a real standout!
We had ordered the sultans feast for 4, but the server, based on her best knoweldge of these things, brought us a portion for just 2 plus extra salad and bread as she said it would probably be enough given the starters we had had already, but if we wanted more she could bring it- and she was quite right, and saved us £30+ and wasting a lot of food, a lot of restaurants would not have been so thoughtful and considerate.
We had a few fruit juices for the drivers (nice to get such a choice) plus an efes and then a bottle of turkish red wine which apparently was gorgeous. Finishing off with baklava, turkish delight, apple tea and turkish coffee the bill was less than £100 for 4, and we were there for about 3 hours, with no need to rush
Would highly recommend

I was lucky enough to eat in The Aubergine on Friday night.

It is only small with about 12 tables, but then when we visited there where only 3 staff working. This however was perfect.

The chef sat on his stool happily cooking away in front of the open fire pit.

We had the Sultans Feast which was more than enough for two people. The meat was cooked perfectly and the accompaniments tastes superb.

I would describe the restaurant as authentic and down to earth, and it's wonderful for it.
