Description: Micatto Cusina Aperta opened in October 2012 in the heart of historic Warwick. "Cusina Aperta" means ”open kitchen”, it is a promise of quality food and the ability to see your food getting prepared by our team of chefs. Creative Director Mr Ahmadi has managed to capture an industrial feel, taking inspiration from New York's Soho area. The white shattered tiles, vintage lighting and mustard yellow leather sofas has given Micatto a contemporary and unique look as well as a comfortable feel. We are sourcing our ingredients from both local and Italian suppliers, some of which are imported specifically for our use. All of our pasta is made in house on a daily basis and we are creating amazing dishes, sometimes using the most simplest of ingredients. Executive chef Miss Elena Brannstrom used her knowledge in regional Italian cuisine, taking inspiration from both Asia, Middle East and Europe, using “The Italian Academy of Cuisine" as a guideline.

Found this restaurant during a trip to Warwick with my Mum. Had a lovely unexpected lunch. Special set menu - 2 courses for £12. Great choice if starters and main courses (+dessert if you have space for £3 more). Very tasty, good portion sizes and friendly service. I'd certainly recommend it for a nice lunch.

The closet thing to being in Italy itself. The food and service were amazing. I would recommend the black pudding starter - unbelievable!
So much to choose from, to be quite honest spoilt by choice.
I cannot wait until I return!

Third visit and we absolutely love it. Great menu well thought out and lots to take your fancy. four of us went and shared a few starters and the ordered main courses after we had finished. The staff were very relaxed with us and even when we were the last to leave they all looked pleased to have been there and looked after us. The wine list is all Italian but there are some lovely obscure wines so be adventurous and let the staff guide you.

Love, love, love this new-find! Was firstly highly recommended to me earlier this year, just haven't had the time to go, but am delighted I finally have! Almost feels as though you're in a New York Italian Classic considering both decor & menu! Food was exceptional & having travelled throughout Italy & being a massive fan of authentic Italian cuisine, this place ticks all the boxes & certainly makes the grade. Will return without a doubt & have no hesitation in recommending.

This restaurant was recommended by friends and having eaten there this week, I can definitely recommend it. The steak with Dolcelette and mushroom sauce was fantastic and all the accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection. The Lemoncello cheesecake was light as a feather. There is a good wine list, all reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and service is very good. Nice atmosphere. Book in advance as it is always busy.
