stayed here for a long weekend and found the place to be quite pleasant. Nice bar , dining area for evening food that doubles as the breakfast room with our room upstairs. Room had flat screen tv, bathroom with shower (yes the shower head stayed on the wall in the anne Boleyn room) although the bed did have the springs 'tickling' my back. The young girl working behind the bar provided exceptional service including wine delivered to the room in an ice bucket. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, juice, toast and full English cooked to order. Yes there are things not quite right such as certain areas looking a little tired (not dirty just aged but this is an old building), squeaking doors , steep steps, etc but this is an old building in which originally people of the time of Henry 8th would have been drinking in. Staff were helpful with vouchers, etc for things like the castle and really did care about customer service and at the end of the day for us we were just looking for a base so the staff attention made it a nice stay.

We stayed here for one night to attend a party. it was mixed bag really. Great from the outside and the pub is quirky inside. However, the room was pretty horrendous. The paintwork was awful and attention to detail would greatly improve the whole room, simply straightening up the light switches, hiding cables and revamping furniture would make a big difference! There was also a lack of plugs. Overall the room was clean so no problems there but the towels had an horrendous stench. By far the worst experience was breakfast. We went down to breakfast and were greeted by a man who just said 'full breakfast' my partner had to call him back to get the vegetarian option. We were not told what the breakfast was or included and We were not given the chance to enquire. An egg arrived with my breakfast which I am allergic to and i was not given chance to ask them not to include it. To add insult to this my partner's breakfast was practically cremated. Just awful. Although the experience wasn't all bad I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others as a b&b/hotel.

My husband & I decided to try Sunday lunch at this lovely looking pub oposit Warwick Castle after visiting the castle for the day. We booked a table & we're looking forward to a nice lunch after a fantastic morning, however the day was ruined by the poor quality tasteless food we were served! I would go as far to say it was the worst Sunday lunch I have ever tasted, the meat was over cooked & so were the vegetables. The whole meal had zero taste at all! AVOID this restaurant unless you have no taste buds & like sloppy food!

My husband and I stayed here for one night for our wedding anniversary.the building a bit tired and our room was very small and the ensuite was small.but it was clean.not much parking had to park over the road.the staff were very friendly and make you feel welcome and they organised a taxi for us in to town..the breakfast was ok .for what you pay it is worth it

We have just arrived home from a lovely time in Warwick. I would recommend The Tudor House Inn. Breakfast was superb and the evening meal excellent, the experiance was that good we even bought the keys home, by mistake I must add. Staff very kind and welcoming and couldnt do enough for us.

We have just got home after spending a lovely weekend in Warwick, and were very impressed with the Tudor House Inn.The hotel was warm, clean and had lots of character -the staff were very friendly and made us feel more than welcome.
There was a good choice of meals on the menu-all reasonably priced, and were delicious. For a small hotel there was plenty of parking and we were only a few minutes walk from the town centre.
Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty to choose from-I would definately stay here again, and would recommend it to other travellers.
My only niggle was the shower-the shower head was not attached to the wall,so made having a shower a bit of a pain(other reviews have pointed this out too).

Our friend booked us in to here as part of a large group. Very old looking building with tons of history and character. We had a good look around and at the hotel rooms, some of the doors to the rooms were less than 4ft high!! Rooms very clean and very warm had to turn the heating down, they had everything you needed. Had a bar snack which was good and the breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of choice for everyone. See you next year
