Owner description: Imagine a totally electrifying day out at Britain’s ultimate castle. Where you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of jaw-dropping history – come rain or shine.Where ancient myths and spell-binding tales set your imagination alight, and your hair on end. Where princesses are pampered and maidens are wooed, as winners become true heroes and losers are confined to dark, dank dungeons to be forgotten for eternity. It could only be Warwick Castle.

This is by far the most organised castle I have visited. Disabled parking is right by the pay kiosks.
I had picked up a 2 for 1 voucher in Stratford which was a big savings. So much to see and do especially if you have kids but unfortunately we did not have the grandchildren on this occasion.
I loved how complete the building is, the interactive figures in the various room including King Edward V11 and his association with the lady of the castle. The rose garden and the peacock gardens were also impressive. There was ample food outlets for lunch and snacks. We found the jousting a good spectacle. All in all we would give it 10 out of 10 and well worth a visit what ever your age.

Thank John H

We got the basic tickets at £22.80 each. We did not think we would upgrade as we felt that the dungeons and Merlin tower were perhaps more for children and families. It is very commercialised but we had a great day - and it did take all day. Lots to see, falconry, jousting, the trebuchet, victorian school, sword fighting plus of course the castle itself. State rooms, towers, the mill and the Kingmaker exhibition were all well worth seeing. The Horrible Histories activities looked fun for children (and grown ups). Peacock garden and the rose garden also worth a visit -a bit of peace and quiet away from the main areas.

Freebie visit via a charity.
Very busy weekend when we visited but lots to see and do. Kids really loved the horrible histories areas. Great to see the birds of prey in action. Despite our visit being a freebie it is still great value for money for the family.

Good road signs good parking staff very helpful enjoyed jousting and getting Horrible History's certificate. Enjoyed dungeons...but felt this should have been included in entrance fees and not an additional £9.00 extra but photos good value. Allow a full day its worth it. Again staff very nice .

Not been to Warwick castle for years and things have changed a little of late. Children were keen to see the Horrible Histories event so we cashed some Clubcard vouchers . Even on a busy bank holiday weekend we walked straight in with our prepaid tickets. Parking was quite a walk away and costs £6, payable on exit.
We were given a small map showing the Horrible histories stations but nothing for the castle itself. There were other events going on such as jousting, combat displays birds of prey and the firing of the trebouchet which was quite impressive . We had lunch , walked the battlements and the Kingmaker exhibition. There were plenty of stalls selling ice cream, noodles pasta burgers etc . A burger meal deal was about £6.50 was nicely cooked and presented and included fries and a drink. 'Bottomless' drinks were also available to purchase at £6 and you get to keep the cup - if you are prepared to share this makes a good saving.
Some of the exhibits are at extra cost and I found this confusing with not having a guidebook. There was whole load of stuff we missed as I didn't realise we could go in. It was a bit of a melee in the courtyard area with all the stalls and people but expect its not so busy at other times of the year . However we still had a really full day out with what we did see so we will have to go back another time.
