Owner description: Imagine a totally electrifying day out at Britain’s ultimate castle. Where you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of jaw-dropping history – come rain or shine.Where ancient myths and spell-binding tales set your imagination alight, and your hair on end. Where princesses are pampered and maidens are wooed, as winners become true heroes and losers are confined to dark, dank dungeons to be forgotten for eternity. It could only be Warwick Castle.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

I thought I was gonna be in for a real history lesson. But instead I just ended up wandering the grounds. And stepping in and out of rooms with artifacts. They could have at least had a tour or some sort of historical dialogue with someone.

Climbing the castle you get great views and great pics so I was happy with that. But I just felt a little bit lied to with this castle.

“amazing”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This was my second visit to the Castle. My first was part of a tour group and I managed to see the interior and the wax works. This time i concentrated on the outside and the shows. Coming from Australia, to see a castle as it may have been all those years ago is quite exciting. I also loved that it has been restored.

“Full day out”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Great for a full day out, but get there early and make the most of the day if you can, as its expensive. Once you are inside there is plenty to keep both boys and girls busy - walk the ramparts, princess tower, storytelling, archery and a giant trebuchet. I'd advise taking your own picnic, as the entrance fee is enough to pay for a family and the food inside is expensive. I've been many times, and its good at all times of the year
