There were only 6 of us but it is advisable to book - which we did earlier in the day, but they were still running behind, however they have a bar area for drinks and it was worth the wait because the food was lovely.

We recently called at this restaurant because we were told the food was good. However, that was not our experience. There was very little choice of pastas - in fact tortelloni, ravioli, penne and spaghetti - with a few various sauces - certainly no lasagna as has been mentioned in previous reviews. Nor were there any pizzas as one would expect from an Italian Restaurant. The spaghetti marinara particularly was salty, the mussels were not fresh and neither were the prawns or clams. Portion sizes were really bad considering the cost - especially the tortelloni. Tiramisu was delicious but told by my companions that the apple pie was not nice. Ice cream was - well ice cream!!

Considering the price we paid for the whole experience - it certainly was not worth it and on leaving noticed a Pizza Express further up the road and wished we had seen that first.

The people who ate the spaghetti marinara were particularly thirsty the rest of the evening because of the amount of salt and processed ingredients.

Save your money folks - they charge top prices for second class food.

A quirky little family run Italian. Very friendly, and tasty food. We had bruscetta, which was fine, nothing special, then veal Milanese with spaghetti napoli that was one of the best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth a look.
