“We raced in before a show and eat a leisurely meal!”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

The glorious decor and the presentation of the food are wonderful. It is also lovely to watch the swans on the water at night gracefully gliding past! The food is lovely, we always have a set meal. The Satay is the best I have ever tasted. The service is caring but slick so no worries about making the show at all. Excellent

“Good but not the best we have had.”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Parking was handy - right beside the restaurant. The interior is quite impressive - every table is glass topped over carved wood scenes. Every chair has carved scenes front and back. When we were there it was almost empty. We were sat where, if it was daytime, we would be able to see the river but as it was dark there was nothing to see. We did not ask to be moved but it was a little draughty by the single glazed doors along the river-facing side.
The food was good but not the best Thai we have had (and we have had many). I had spare ribs, duck red curry and coconut rice. My wife had duck red curry and pad thai. I had a small Chang beer and my wife had water. The duck was very lean but not very tender. £55 including tip.
Service was prompt and friendly but we could have done without both waitresses intermittently standing watching us from across the room.

“Excellent location, friendly staff, beautifully presented (and tasty!) food”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

I really love this place, often come here for the Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet but also went there for Christmas this year. It offered a beautiful selection of Thai dishes on a buffet. Normally with large buffets the food can taste quite bland and mass-produced, but here all the dishes were individually very tasty and there was a great range. Would definitely recommend.

“Awful awful awful ”
Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

Visited as a treat for my daughters birthday but was very disappointed in the service, the food and ambiance.

We ordered 7 separate dishes, they were all bland, textureless, dreary dishes. I sent my beef in a pepper sauce back, only for it to reappear with a bit if white pepper sprinkled over it.

The restaurant was nearly empty, the Saturday night before Christmas... Word has obviously got out... I will not be back either.

The management has obviously changed because it used to be good.

Very expensive, low low quality....
Don't bother there are other restaurants in Stratford upon Avon.
