A really lovely B&B. Lovely rooms, with super attention to details. (fresh milk in fridge for tea and coffee) the breakfast was beautiful, freshly baked bread and home made blueberry muffins. I can't recommend this place enough. Definately worth a visit.

We stayed at White Sails earlier this month for one night but wish it could have been for longer. From greeting to leaving we were treated as valued guests, cabs were organised, interest was shown and the breakfast first class. The room we stayed in was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. We decided to ride cabs into Stratford, but at only £4 each way this was hardly an issue. Thank you White Sails, hope to see you again soon.

We stayed in the Warwick room, which was a little cosy, but wonderfully luxurious, including a very comfy 4-poster and the most wonderful slipper bath. Everything was absolutely spotless, with nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge, decaf tea-bags available, chocolates, mints and quiality toiletries. Even a complimentary coffee machine and sherry is offered in the lounge!

Breakfasts started with a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, including starwberries, blueberries, and hand-made preserved plums, pears and peaches, fresh-baked bread and muffins, followed by cooked breakfast or salmon.

Philip and Chiung-Wen made us feel extremely welcome and the only downside to the entire weekend was the good-mile walk into town twice a day, though there are regular buses Mon-Sat.

We booked the Stratford room because we like a bit of luxury in the bathroom when we stay away; this did not disappoint! We were made very welcome and offered helpful advice as to getting into town. We discovered that Anne Hathaway's cottage is within very easy walking distance; this made up for the slightly too long walk into town (It would be fine if the weather was warmer but this was freezing Febuary).
Breakfast choices were excellent and the food was beautifully cooked- very light even for the full English. Warm home-made bread and a wonderful choice of fresh fruits; absolutely fab!

Room Tip: Stratford if you want a roll topped bath and full-on luxury bathroom!

Really enjoyed our stay at White Sails (last time 2011) Comfortable, clean, welcoming and great breakfast. Stayed in the Warwick room again. The 20 min walk into town is perfect and better than driving and trying to find a parking place.
Thank you

We arrived for our two night stay at around 7pm & were greeted by Chiung-Wen upon arrival, who was extremely polite & friendly & happy to assist us in carrying our luggage to our room (the Warwick room) & able to answer any questions & offer advice.
The room itself was just as amazing as we'd seen in the photos, as was the dining room & lounge- extremely clean & contemporary, in terms of the decor. There was also a mini fridge which contained complimentary bottled water & milk, plus a small selection of alcoholic drinks; these weren't free, though there was a decanter of sherry available in the lounge from which guests can pretty much help themselves at no extra cost.
We sat down for breakfast the next morning, having noted down our requirements the previous evening. Within seconds we were greeted by Phillip, who, like Chiung-Wen, was very friendly & courteous; he even took the trouble to introduce all that was available from the buffet, & give specific detail regarding the origin of the butter, which was locally sourced. As we enjoyed our breakfast, he even booked us a cab into town & lent us an umbrella on what was definitely the wettest day of the year so far!
The next morning, following a long day doing all things touristy, our experience at breakfast time was equally as positive as the previous one, & Phillip seemed happy to listen as we told him how we'd spent our time in Stratford.
It was soon time to checkout so once we'd paid our dues, we expressed our thanks to both hosts at being treated so well during our stay & assured them we'd be reviewing them positively on Trip Advisor!

We woke up on Saturday morning and decided spur of the moment to stay at White Sails for my 30th birthday. We absolutely loved it, the owners are warm and friendly but not imposing or overbearing and we felt completely relaxed and comfortable at the guest house. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!
