We visited Hobsons on a Saturday lunchtime so expected it to be quite busy but were a disappointed by the amount of people constantly coming in and out looking for tables. This created a cold draft in the restaurant and staff seemed to make little/ no effort to tell people where or if there were any spare tables. Though food was tasty, particularly cakes of which there is a wide selection, queuing for the counter service is slow. Once ordered food came up very quickly though.
Overall portion sizes were generous and both baguettes and cakes tasted good, if less busy it would be a good place to stop and have a relax.
