We were in Stratford and wanted to go somewhere for a light lunch and found this delightful place at beginning of pedestrianised area. You could sit outside but we chose to go in. Its all beams and nooks and crannies with lots of different areas with different chairs to sit in. You go to the counter, order your food and drink, take your drink to table and sit down-the food comes fairly quickly, obviously depending on how busy it is. And the choices of food, fabulous. I had a salmon and asparagus slice of quiche and it was very generous and delicious. The coffee was lovely. There were sandwiches, all sorts or wraps etc. and lots of different quiches. The cakes looked wonderful too. The toilets are on the ground floor and there is a disabled accessible one. I know this because I am disabled and as i can't carry anything they brought the tray for me. It was such a wonderful experience that we went back the next day. This time I had a tuna salad wrap with salad and crisps served beautifully on a long narrow dish. I had an apple juice in a bottle which was crisp and thirst-quenching. I also indulged [with my friend] in a scone with jam and cream which is obviously a speciality as I have never seen anything like it, it was sooooo tall,a fresh scone half followed my a tall tower of cream, then the other half perched on top, a truly spectacular sight. I was on holiday to a place I had never been and enjoyed this place immensely. I wonder if there are any other branches. Sorry forgot to mention prices-very reasonable.
