This is a new theatre which has great seating and visibility. I went to The winter's tale and thoroughly enjoyed it. No queing at the bar. The river walk beside the theatre is wonderful also so leave a half hour to enjoy before the show which usually starts at 7.15pm

We saw a wonderful staging of The Winter's Tale. The theatre is simply amazing with state of the art visual and sound systems that support the artists' performance.

All the performances were great. I particularly enjoyed Pearce Quigley as Autolycus, who injects much laughter and mirth as the lovable rogue of the piece.

The seating is really comfortable and the stage comes right out into the audience in a horse shoe shaped; so wherever you sit you are reasonably close to the action.

I booked seats in the upper circle at the front. We had a great view of the stage and could hear all the actors so great place to sit.

All the floors have a bar and restrooms, convenient in every sense of the word.

There is a good coffee and cake shop hidden round the back of the theatre on the ground floor. A great find if you need light refreshment prior to the play.

Shakespeare is one of the great cultural icons of this country, so if you visiting from overseas or from around 'this sceptr'd isle' this is the place to experience the language of the bard first hand.

We booked out tickets online well ahead. Our seats were excellent, but I don't think there is a poor seat. The quality of the performance of "Much Ado About Nothing" was wonderful Seeing a Shakespearean play in this location is a lifetime must.

We arrived on the day of the play and received two £5 student tickets. Extremely reasonable and amazing play. Really recommend the RSC as a good day/night out!
