We bought a package that included this along with 4 other Shakespeare landmarks and it was well worth the price. There are half price coupons in the local flyers. We really enjoyed the museum leading up to the house.

With coupons in the local magazines, half price tickets are available to five Shakespeare related landmarks, and that is the best value, even if you are not going to visit all 5. We enjoyed this, along with the Anne Hathaway house and Shakespeare's burial place and felt we got our money's worth.

You really have to visit Shakespeare's houses and gardens at least once. They help to bring the Elizabethan era to life. Even if history is not your thing, the gardens are very pleasant. I would go out of season though - at this time of year they are very, very busy.

It was good to see if you bought your ticket, we bought the family ticket, it was valid for a whole year. It was interesting seeing the birthplace and my teenagers loved the live Shakespeare actors in the garden. We then used our ticket to visit Nash House and then Trinity Church. We spent the whole day exploring Stratford for that one ticket.

Interesting without being very exciting; some useful features for teens but younger people would be struggling to be entertained. Unless you purchase a ticket for the other places, entrance to this is rather expensive. The garden is quite pretty. The 'cinema' was quite good but could be a lot larger - only two seats! I saw several people watch but then give up and walk on.
