We stayed here for 2 nights 15-17th November 2013 as 2 couples.
Really enjoyed the weekend, and luckily the weather was fine.
The accommodation was good. Lit is located a mile from the town centre along one straight main road. Anne Hathaway’s cottage is also quite close by in the other direction. Bedrooms were a little small, but on-suite, with good tea/coffee facilities and flat screen TV. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice on the menu, HOT and tasty with plenty of it.
The owners seemed nice for what we saw of them.
The only complaints I have was that the rooms were very cold. The heating didn't come on in the evenings until about 7pm, by which time we were showered and dressed to go out. My wife is a freezer so didn't welcome this. In the front bedrooms there is a lot of traffic noise. The toilet paper is like we use to have in school, sheets of paper dispensed from a holder, rather than toilet roll.
Finally and being really picky, on the Saturday night the lights in our room went off, we couldn't find the owners and had to ring the B&B from our mobile to get hold of them. We were made to feel as if it was something we had done in the room, which I didn't like.
Probably wouldn't stay again, but did enjoy.....
