Just back frm a spa break wt friends at the Stratford Manor and it was a super experience. The staff were very friendly, the food fantastic and the town very close by. The only downside was the noisy swimming pool! After our lovely, relaxing 90mins spa treatments, we decided to chill by the pool. There were 6noisy kids and it was just hot and too noisy. A shame as after a super relaxing spa treatment there is actually nowhere else to go and continue to chill apart frm your room. I really think they need to provide a quiet area somewhere for spa guests like most spas have.

I am glad you had a great experience at the Stratford Manor and would like to thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you didn’t see that children’s swimming times are from 8am till 11am and 4pm and 8pm which is displayed at reception, but take on board your feedback regarding the ambiance poolside. We are currently looking into the feasibility of a Spa relaxation room.

My daughter and I enjoyed a Spa Break at Stratford Manor. the reception staff were very welcoming and efficient. The food at lunch was more than we had anticipated and very good. The evening meal excellent.
The spa treatments were very good and the staff could not have been friendlier.
The only disappointing part of our stay was the room. It was average for a four star hotel but what we had to complain about was the hairs on the bathroom floor and the carpet did not look as if it had been hoovered. We also complained about the sheets on one of the beds and the hem of one of the curtains hanging down. The hotel itself is very clean and attractive.
Overall it was a good stay but could have been excellent if the room was better.

Another lovely break with Q Hotels. All the staff were lovely, attentive without being intrusive, and helpful. The hotel was, as always very comfortable, with yummy breakfasts and peaceful surroundings.

Here for our ruby wedding anniversary. Room was clean, well decorated and furnished. Could do with a safe and a fridge but this did not detract from the room. Seems to have a system that only produces Luke warm water to bath. Stayed in room 273 which was too hot for our liking but would suit some guests.
Went down to dinner on first night and had to ask to be re-seated away from the entrance due to the draught. This was done without a quibble. Ordered drinks, then food, starter arrived promptly but it took 60 minutes before the mains arrived. Although we were eventually told our mains were coming it was very poor service. It was not the waiting staff but the kitchen staff who appeared unable to cope with a full restaurant.
The food was excellent, served hot and fresh when it did arrive. A plus point is the excellent quality of the breakfast highly recommended the best we have had in a hotel for years. Staff are first class and very helpful.

We stopped at the Stratford Manor for two nights in August 2013 after staying at a Q Hotel previously and being pretty impressed. The hotel was very clean and decorated well. It had a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We asked for advice on the local area, places to go etc and we were given great advice. Location is fab if you have a car as it was only a short drive into Stratford. Plently of reasonably priced parking is available close to the centre. Our room was gorgeous and well equiped. We had a few drinks at the hotel bar and a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Bar staff very friendly. The food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive. Breakfast was really good and set us up for the day! Lovely hotel - deifinetly recommend!
