We live in Stratford and decided to visit No 9 after a matinee performance at the RSC. They have a great pre-dinner theatre menu or post-theatre in our case which offers great choices for 2 or 3 courses. The food was well presented, tasty and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Great value pre theatre dinner. The food is excellent........ Four of us had different starters and mains and , without doubt, all were equally as good!

The service is efficient and smiley! Its a two minute walk to the RSC.....make sure you book because there is limited seating and is obviously very popular (and deservedly so!)

Without hesitation ......we shall return!

We went to no 9 for Sunday lunch and ordered from the Sunday lunch fixed price menu which was £21 for three courses. The menu is fantastic for everyone, fish lovers, vegetarians, and for those who 'don't like their food messed about with!'.
However, the chef offers mouthwatering imaginative gormet dishes that have your gastic juices flowing the minute you cast your eyes on the menu!
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is ideal as you can park acrioss the road in the council car park at the weekend.

Relying on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, my wife booked this for dinner before we went to the nearby RSC theatre. The restaurant advertises pre theatre meals and they are really geared up for this with plenty of staff available.

We opted for the excellent value £17.99 pre theatre set menu. 3 courses. Plenty of choice. And our food was superb.

Service was friendly yet professional. And efficient.

10 out of 10 for Number 9!

This was a suoerb meal in nice surroundings with friendly helpful staff. The food was outstanding. The 5 cheese plate for one fed the whole table!
Choice of wines, particularly dessert wines was amazing. First class!
