“Lovely food, warm and welcoming :)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

Stopped in for breakfast whilst out in Stratford upon Avon with our 3 year old. Welcoming and accommodating of the request for a slightly off menu breakfast for the little lady. Lovely food and plenty of it at very reasonable prices. Shame we only discovered it on our last day there or we would have definitely been back.

“Nice food shame about the service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

Called in for lunch. We had nice home made soup and a greek salad with chips which were all good. The place was let down by the service - drinks took ages to come as did the food and the chips were forgotten until we reminded them. The person operating the till seemed to have no idea what any of the items cost thus slowing up the payment process. Generally there was too much chat going on amongst the staff and not enough customer focus.

“Food cooked "As You Like It"!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

Forgive the Shakespeare pun in the title, my girlfriend made me do it!

Visiting Stratford, one is surrounded by potential places to eat and drink. We popped into the Deli Cafe for lunch as we were close by, the menu looked appealing and well-priced, and it was not too busy for a Sunday lunchtime.

The menu is varied and comprehensive, with a wide range of dishes and snacks; and a good selection of hot and cold drinks (including alcohol should you prefer).

The service was prompt and polite with enthusiastic staff and our food and drinks arrived very quickly.

I had the Spicy Prawns, which consisted of prawns, tomato, chilli and onion on a hot garlic baguette. My companion had the home-made tomato soup. Both dishes were excellent - substantial portions, hot, and very tasty. The best way I can describe the dishes is that they tasted like the best sort of home-cooked food - not mass produced or rushed in any way. I would recommend the Spicy Prawns to anyone who likes a bit of punch to their lunch!

Once again, apologies for the Shakespearean pun, but All's Well That Ends Well.

“Cheap but not Cheerfull!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

Waiting staff inexperenced but pleasant and did did try there best.

Sadly the food was no where near what you would expect from a cafe advertising tasty home cooked food. The cutlry and glassware we were given were dirty which we over looked and clean ourselve. Sadly when we found a pubic hair in the food we could not eat any more.

When we complained we were treated very badly, no mention of sorry. Instead we found the staff to be very rude, with the lady who made the food complaining loudly in the kitchen that we dared to complain. If you are nice to the staff they'll be lovely but sadly the nice customer service vanishes if you question them.

If you want cheap go here! but for a liittle bit more there are some really nice Cafe's around the corner

“Well worth every penny”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

We had a weeks holiday near to Stratford-Upon-Avon on a Caravan Site, with friends we would take the river taxi into Straford and always everyday had our lunch, the staff were really friendly and could not fault the food at all, they got to asking us what we liked and next day we got it.
