Thanks Michele and Liam for welcoming us into your very comfortable and competively priced guest house. Very close to centre of town and theatre - 5-10 minutes walking, off road parking, fantastic freshly cooked breakfast, comfortable bed, clean and well appointed rooms. Better than some hotels we've stayed in. We'd love to come back and strongly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Stratford upon Avon.
A ten minute walk from the train station, we found it convenient even though it is on a busy street. However, every B & B had no vacancies as we walked there since it was a busy weekend. We showed up and everything was first class from beginning to end of our two days. Liam and Michele were a wealth of help in the planning of the rest our stay. Free WIFI helped us keep up with friends in the United States. Excellent English breakfast amongst 6-7 choices. The day we left, we were allowed to leave our luggage there to see a couple of last sights before we left. It was a very spotlessly clean accommodation. Both host and hostess are incredibly meticulous. Great value!
We stayed for 2 nights in September. Room was lovely and very comfortable and en-suite too. We loved staying here and Breakfast excellent with alot of choice too. Liam and Michelle are great hosts. Would certainly return again.
We spend three nights here early September 2012. When we arrived we were a little taken aback by the busy road and its location next to a shell petrol station. We soon found out that the road did not bother us at all and the shell station was equipped with an ATM and a good shop. Green haven is indeed within 10 minutes walking distance from the center of Stratford-upon-Avon. The guesthouse has ample parking space which is quite precious in this town. Once inside we found a well maintained property en very clean. The room (nr. 3) was at the back of the house, not overly spacious but good enough and with sufficient room to store our luggage. It was very quit and we could open the windows at night without any noise disturbing us. The en suit bathroom had a very good shower. A couple of shelves might have been more convenient. But again spotless and enough towels. The bed was very comfortable. We did not test the pillows because we always bring our own. There was a small TV set but we did not use it. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Both. A cold buffet style and a cooked breakfast is offered. The scrambled eggs and toast were cooked on demand and very good. All in all we would definitely recommend this guesthouse.
We stayed here for one night, as were going to the theatre in the town. The town centre is a ten minute walk and you can leave your car at the B & B - very convenient. Our room and bathroom were spotless, breakfast excellent and hosts very pleasant. All in all, very, very good.
We stayed for 2 nights over a long weekend in August. The room was immaculate, and the house well presented. Liam and Michelle were excellent hosts. Excellent location. The room was en-suite and had air con. Parking spaces available for all guests.
