Description: Harringtons on the Hill is a charming and rustic restaurant set in Little Virgina of Kenilworth, Warwickhire almost opposite the castle. The service is informal, friendly and efficient complimenting the delicious locally sourced (wherever possible), fresh ingredients dishes that are lovingly prepared by the kitchen team. There is a private dining room available upstairs that seats up to 30 people which makes Harringtons suitable for any occasion. Great food served well for good value.

Nice atmosphere and wonderful food. Starters "for sharing" included mouth watering Chorizo and goats cheese with honey (a wonderful combination). My friends enjoyed the pigeon starter that was, in their words "fantastic". The main courses that we enjoyed included, fillet steak which was cooked perfectly to order, seafood chowder and lamb shank. The food was wholesome, flavoursome and well seasoned. Could not fault any aspect of our visit from the warm welcome from Charlotte to the ever attentive waiting staff and fine food. Looking forward to my next visit to this little gem.

Thank EmmCoco

Kenilworth is a fascinating place to visit, what with its impressive castle,[closed unfortunately when we visited], and atmospheric thatched cottages and other old buildings. Faced with just 2 possibilities of where to eat, we made probably the right choice. The nice looking public house nearby would have been a close second. Warm and cosy with additional upstairs seating for t5he busier summer months, we were made most welcome. We both chose the plaice from the lunchtime specials menu which was 2 courses and a complimentary glass of wine for under £13 each. Rather slow to appear it was well worth waiting for as it was faultless and delicious. Sipping what appeared to be a good quality wine [ though I'm no expert] we awaited the rather unusual take on apple crumble and custard. Tasty it was, but the caramel biscuit top had to be tackled with a good set of teeth. we were assured it was how it was meant to be ,but in my opinion not a huge success. However the overall impression was good and we would be happy to return on another occasion.

I have eaten here several times, and i can say that on the whole it is always lovely. The staff always seem really enthusiastic and pleasant. The food is lovely too, whether its traditional british food from further afield. They are reasonably priced too, and you get value for money. I would encourage anyone who is in the area to give harringtons a visit! You shall not be disappointed.

A group of eight met to celebrate a party and wanted something relaxed and with good food. we were not disappointed. Between us we had 5 different dishes and all met with satisfaction. The service was good too. It would have been even better if we had sat around a round table, conversation is always better shared that way.
